Our story
As AI teams scaled from single-agent prototypes to multi-agent production systems, a pattern emerged: invoices arrived with no breakdown beyond API keys, and engineering leads spent hours in spreadsheets trying to figure out which agent or feature drove the spike.
Provider dashboards showed totals by API key. Cloud billing showed compute by instance. Neither answered the question that mattered: “Which agent caused this cost, and which product feature was it serving?”
AgentCost Insight closes that gap. We built lightweight, provider-agnostic instrumentation that ties every model call, token, and runtime unit directly to named agents and product features. Real-time dashboards show spend as it happens. Budget rules throttle runaway jobs before they become invoice surprises. And CSV exports give finance teams the traceability they need without asking engineers to build custom reports.
